Who we are
ShipSignal is an early access product for publishing shareable build logs, collecting focused feedback, and preparing product launches. You can contact us at hello@getshipsignal.com.
Information we collect
- Waitlist information, including your email address, referral code if supplied, signup time, and IP address used for abuse prevention and rate limiting.
- GitHub account information when you sign in, including GitHub ID, username, and avatar URL.
- Project content you choose to publish, including project names, descriptions, updates, feedback prompts, and feedback submissions.
- Operational and analytics data, including session cookies, CSRF tokens, page URL, referrer, high-level browser/OS labels, event type, and consent or opt-out state.
How we use information
- To provide ShipSignal, authenticate users, protect accounts, and operate access-controlled project pages.
- To manage the waitlist, invite access, product updates, and referral attribution.
- To understand basic product usage, debug issues, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
- To respond when you contact us.
Shared content
Project pages are access-controlled during early access. Updates, project metadata, feedback asks, follower counts, and non-private feedback can be visible to invited users who can open a shared project URL. Do not publish secrets, credentials, private customer data, or anything you are not allowed to share.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal information. We use infrastructure and product providers to run the service, including Cloudflare for hosting, storage, and security, and GitHub for OAuth sign-in. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to investigate abuse.
Cookies and analytics choices
ShipSignal uses functional cookies for sessions and CSRF protection. Analytics respects browser Do Not Track where available and the analytics_consent=denied opt-out cookie.
Access, deletion, and updates
You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing hello@getshipsignal.com. We may need to retain limited records for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or backup integrity. We will update this policy as ShipSignal changes.
